I should start off by saying that I smoke more than a Rib-Burnoff. From the minute my feet hit the floor in the morning until I quickly brush off the burning tip of a cigarette on my snoring, heaving chest at night - I smoke. But I knew it was time for me to quit when I tried to become scuba certified. I literally asked the instructor if there was some device that I could put over my face that would also house a cigarette. He looked at me like someone that needed psychiatric treatment. Which on a side note I have been undergoing for several years - I should note the treatment has to do with me trying to quit smoking, not because of that late, cool night in October when they talked me down from the top of the town water tower naked after the high school football team lost to the rival Sea Lions. I'm not crazy, I am just passionate.
So I put these patches on my skin. I put one on each arm, one on each leg, one on the back of my neck, and one on my chest. I tell you my smoking has really slowed down. And my body feels like I am still smoking. It is awesome. Except for the fact that the patches aren't cheap. It's like I go through a box every couple days.
So if you want to quit and you can handle this investment, put on the patches!!! As I like to say to my wife who is nearly yellow from my 2nd hand smoke after all these years, DROP THE MATCHES AND PUT ON THE PATCHES.
